With experienced guides and comfortable accommodations, this safari ensures a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable wildlife adventure in the heart of Africa.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi

After arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you will begin your journey southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The scenic drive takes approximately 8–9 hours, passing through rolling hills, banana plantations, and quaint villages.

Stop en route for lunch and short photo opportunities at scenic viewpoints. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check into your lodge or guesthouse and relax. Enjoy dinner at the lodge while preparing for the gorilla trekking adventure scheduled for the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Wake up early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for the briefing. Experienced park rangers will assign you to a gorilla family and explain safety and trekking protocols.

The trek through the dense rainforest can last 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Along the way, you may see other wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and exotic plants. Once you reach the gorillas, you will spend one hour observing these magnificent primates, capturing unforgettable photographs and enjoying their playful and social behaviors.

Return to your lodge in the afternoon for lunch and relaxation. You may also opt for a short nature walk or community visit to interact with the local Batwa people and learn about their traditions.

Day 3: Optional Second Gorilla Trek or Chimpanzee Tracking

For those seeking more primate encounters, today offers an optional second gorilla trek or a chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kyambura Gorge, depending on availability. Both experiences provide unique insights into Uganda’s rich biodiversity.

After your morning trek, enjoy a scenic game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park if time permits, spotting elephants, buffalo, lions, and hippos along the Kazinga Channel. Return to Bwindi in the late afternoon and relax at the lodge, savoring local cuisine.

Day 4: Departure – Bwindi to Entebbe

On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before beginning the journey back to Entebbe. The scenic drive allows for multiple stops at viewpoints, markets, and cultural sites along the way.

Arrive at Entebbe in the evening, concluding your 4-day Uganda Gorilla Safari filled with unforgettable wildlife experiences, breathtaking landscapes, and cultural encounters.
