Day 1 & 2: NamibRand Nature Reserve

Your journey begins in Windhoek, Namibia’s charming capital. Upon arrival, we’ll welcome you, hand over your detailed travel package, and review your route and itinerary for the exciting days ahead. You’ll then meet your pilot and board a private charter flight to the NamibRand Nature Reserve, a scenic journey of about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

On the way:
Your adventure starts with breathtaking aerial views. From above, Namibia reveals its stunning beauty — endless horizons, ancient arid landscapes, and dramatic dunes painted in ochre, gold, and sienna tones. It’s an artist’s masterpiece where desert sands meet sky and sunlight in perfect harmony.

When you arrive:
A short transfer takes you to your lodge perched atop a dune plateau. It combines the charm of a tented camp with the luxury and comfort of a permanent structure. After settling in, enjoy an afternoon or sunset drive across the sweeping dunes, lasting two to three hours depending on your arrival time.

Day 2 unfolds with a full-day exploration of this vast desert landscape, including a picnic lunch amid endless sandscapes where life thrives against all odds. The NamibRand is also Africa’s first International Dark Sky Reserve, offering one of the world’s best stargazing experiences — a magical end to each day.

Day 3 & 4: Sossusvlei

Today, your adventure continues deeper into the desert as you leave NamibRand and head to the iconic Sossusvlei, one of Namibia’s most spectacular regions. A short 20-minute flight brings you to your next stay — Sossusvlei Desert Lodge.

On the way:
Though brief, this flight offers mesmerizing views of the Namib Desert’s endless dunes and shifting sands — a golden landscape that feels timeless.

When you’re there:
Your stay includes all meals and several activities: guided nature drives and walks, quad biking, and stargazing through a high-powered telescope at the lodge’s state-of-the-art observatory with a resident astronomer. You can also explore San rock art, petrified dunes, and nearby hiking trails.

A highlight is your guided visit to Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei, Sesriem Canyon, and the towering dunes — Dune 45, Big Daddy, and Elim Dune — best seen in early morning or late afternoon light.

Tip: Extend your stay for an extra night to enjoy a hot air balloon safari or helicopter flight over Sossusvlei — unforgettable experiences!

Day 5 & 6: Skeleton Coast

Now it’s time for a dramatic change in scenery — and climate. You’ll transfer to the airstrip and take a private scenic flight to Swakopmund, en route to the rugged Skeleton Coast.

On the way:
This 90-minute flight is extraordinary. You’ll soar over Sandwich Harbour, where colossal dunes meet the crashing Atlantic waves — a visual spectacle of land and sea in constant contest. Continuing north, you’ll pass over abandoned diamond mines and ghostly shipwrecks scattered along the coast. After a short refueling stop in Swakopmund, you’ll continue to Mowe Bay, where you’ll be transferred to the remarkable Shipwreck Lodge.

When you’re there:
Enjoy included meals, park fees, and daily excursions. Activities include game drives, guided walks, sundowners on the beach, quad biking, and sandboarding. Take a 4×4 trip to explore the Clay Castles, Hoanib River Delta, and Mowe Bay seal colony. Visit nearby shipwrecks such as Suiderkus and Karimona, and keep an eye out for desert-adapted elephants along the Hoarusib River. Weather permitting, a beach picnic is the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Day 7 & 8: Kaokoland

Next, you’ll head to the remote and otherworldly Hartmann Valley in Kaokoland. After a 50-minute flight, you’ll transfer to Serra Cafema Camp, your luxurious lodge on the banks of the Kunene River.

On the way:
Kaokoland is one of Namibia’s most isolated regions, accessible only by air. It’s a land of contrasts — dunes, mountains, and river valleys. Along the Kunene River, spot Nile crocodiles and vibrant birdlife such as Burchell’s courser and the Benguela long-billed lark.

While you’re there:
All meals and local beverages are included. Activities feature nature drives, guided walks, river cruises, quad biking, and visits to an authentic Himba village. On full-day excursions, enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by stunning desert scenery.

Day 9 & 10: Etosha National Park

Your final safari destination brings you to the legendary Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife sanctuaries.

On the way:
Fly from Hartmann Valley to Ondangwa for refueling, then onward to Ongava Reserve, adjacent to Etosha.

Etosha teems with life — over 114 mammal species and 340 bird species, including lion, leopard, oryx, zebra, giraffe, black-faced impala, cheetah, and during the rainy season, flocks of flamingos.

When you’re there:
Enjoy daily game drives in Etosha and guided bush walks in the private Ongava Reserve. Spend time at hides and waterholes, and take the opportunity to track rhino with expert guides. All meals and local beverages are included.

Day 11: Windhoek – Departure

Your incredible Namibian adventure concludes today. Enjoy a final morning activity before your private charter flight from Etosha back to Windhoek International Airport (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes).

Please ensure you arrive at the airport at least two hours before your international departure.
